My drill bit snapped inside a wall in Amarillo and I had to fish it out with a magnet taped to a coat hanger
Was running a new drop through an interior wall at a two story place in Amarillo on a 98 degree afternoon and my 18 inch flex bit snapped off about a foot in, leaving the tip stuck behind drywall I could not open. I taped a rare earth magnet to a straightened coat hanger and spent 25 minutes fishing around until it latched on, then pulled it out slow through the same hole without cutting a big access panel. Any of you keep a retrieval magnet in the bag for this exact mess, or do you just cut the wall and patch it?
