Pro tip: turned down a $4/hr raise to stay on a crew I actually like, and 6 months in I finally get why
The other shop in town offered me $22 an hour to run their fence crew solo, but I stayed at $18 with the guys I started with in Boise, and last week the owner handed me my own truck and a helper because he said I was the only one who never left, so I guess my real question is how do you all weigh a bigger check against people who actually have your back?
