Warning: I took a job for the title instead of the money and it backfired
I had to pick between a 'Senior Analyst' role at a startup for 75k and a 'Specialist' title at a big company for 90k. I took the senior title for the resume boost, but the startup folded after eight months. Has anyone else regretted chasing a title over real pay?

Honestly, I did the same thing but for a 'Lead' title at a tiny company. Tbh the business card was cool for like a week before I realized I was basically just the only person doing the job. Ngl, that fancy title didn't help much when they ran out of money for payroll.

Yeah @logan271, my "Director" title just meant I directed myself to the printer.
