Am I the only one who thinks sending a second invoice email the same day is a bad move?
Two Fridays ago I had $3,400 sitting unpaid across four jobs, so I fired off reminder emails at 9am, then sent follow ups at 4pm because I was panicking about rent. By Monday two of those people had gone quiet on me, and one replied with 'we got it twice, we know.' Now I sit on my hands for at least five business days before a second nudge, and my payment times have not gotten worse at all. Does anyone here actually see faster checks from same day double emails, or is that just something we do to feel less nervous?

I paid $1,700 to level up my patience stat and all I got was this lousy character trait. The worst part is I could have just waited at the DMV for free and gotten the same lesson. Next time I'm tempted to rush something I'll just stare at a wall for an hour and save the money.
