PSA: My old boss said never refund a deposit, my friend says always refund it, who is right?
She told me last week she refunded $500 to a lady who backed out of a wedding cake order two days before, and I said my old boss would have kept every cent. Where do you all draw the line on deposits when the customer cancels?
