Dropped $89 on a client portal tool and it paid for itself in 2 weeks
I run a small design shop out of Tucson and was losing track of feedback in email threads, so I finally paid for a shared portal at $89 a month. It felt like a lot for one person, but tracking revisions in one place cut my back and forth calls way down. Last month I closed two jobs a full week faster than usual, which is worth way more than the fee. Curious if anyone else here uses a portal or if you just keep everything in Google Docs.

Back when I tracked freelance hours in a paper notebook, I lost a whole week of billing because my dog knocked coffee on it. A shared portal sounds like a solid way to keep all that stuff from vanishing.
