Overheard a fellow freelancer at a coffee shop say she bills for every single email reply
I was grabbing a latte at that new place on Main Street last Thursday and heard a freelance graphic designer say she charges a flat $25 fee for any client email that takes over 10 minutes to answer. It blew my mind because I usually just roll those into my hourly rate and eat the cost. Has anyone else started itemizing quick email responses on their invoices, or does that feel too nitpicky for your setup?

Man that $25 per email thing is wild but honestly I kinda get it after spending 20 minutes rewriting a simple reply last week. It's rough when quick questions turn into whole projects and nobody pays you for that extra time.
