Serious question, has anyone else noticed clients getting pickier over the last 2 years?
I swear around mid-2022, every client started asking for revisions on things they used to just approve on the first go. Had a lady last month ask me to tweak a logo color three times before she admitted she actually wanted a different shade of blue the whole time... Has anyone else seen this shift or am I just unlucky?

Right, because apparently "I'll know it when I see it" means "I'll make you show me every single shade of blue that exists first." Maybe clients get a bonus for how many revisions they can squeeze out of us these days. Does your sanity count as billable hours?

You're not alone, I've seen the same thing happen with my own clients too. It's like they get more nervous about making a decision and then take it out on us with endless tweaks. That blue shade story sounds exhausting, I feel for you.

Wow, honestly? That blue shade story is what got me too. I can't believe someone actually made them go through that many revisions over a color you could barely tell apart in the first place. That's just absurd. It makes you wonder if they were even paying attention to what they approved before asking for changes. In my experience, clients like that are usually just trying to justify their own insecurity about the choice, but still, that is next level frustrating. Your mileage may vary, but I'd have lost my cool after the third or fourth tweak to that blue.
