That $3,200 logo project taught me about scope creep
Had a call with a client in Denver last Tuesday who kept asking for 'just one more revision' on a logo I already finished. By the 14th revision, I realized I never put a hard limit in the contract. Now I always cap revisions at 3 and charge extra after that. Anyone else get trapped by unlimited revisions?

@white.keith nailed it. Three revisions max, end of story.

Oh man, unlimited revisions are a trap! I learned the hard way too, now I just set a hard limit upfront and it saves everyone headaches.

I actually went through the same thing a few years back with a big project. It got to the point where the client was asking for changes that totally undid the last three rounds of work. Now I just tell people straight up that we get three revision rounds and anything after that costs extra. It keeps everyone honest and saves a ton of frustration. Honestly it's one of the best rules I ever put in place.

Does it ever feel like clients just keep moving the goalpost no matter what you do?
