Burned $80 on a 'green' lawn service before I caught on

I hired this landscaping company that promised organic treatments and carbon offset stuff. Paid them $80 a month for six months. Then one day I saw their truck filling up at a gas station and realized they drove 45 miles to my house every single week from a suburb with no other clients nearby. The emissions from that one trip probably canceled out any good their organic fertilizer did. Has anyone else dealt with eco-friendly services that have terrible logistics behind the scenes?

I get what you're saying and the gas station thing is kind of funny, but I see it a little different. That company was probably trying to do the right thing with the organic stuff, and you can't always control where people live.
