Just found out our office's switch to LED bulbs saved enough energy to power three homes for a year
Our facilities manager shared the numbers in a meeting yesterday. It's crazy how small changes add up.

Ever notice how weird stuff looks under LED light? My mom's old photos look totally different since she switched all her lamps... the colors are all off.

LED lights can really mess with colors. My grandma's paintings look totally different under them too.

Yeah, the color change under LEDs is a big issue. From what I've seen, it's not just about saving power, it's about how we see stuff every day. What is it in LED light that makes colors look wrong? I heard it's about how warm or cool the light is, or the range of colors it puts out. It makes me wonder if we're trading good light for lower bills. Why do some LEDs seem to keep colors true while others don't?
