Shelled out $220 for a rooftop solar vent fan, now my attic is livable

I mean, I wasn't expecting much, but after three 100 degree weeks in Phoenix my attic was hitting 140. So I bought a Solar Whiz unit for $220 and installed it myself last Saturday. It dropped the peak temp by about 25 degrees, which has already cut my AC running time in half. Anyone else tried a solar attic fan or did you just go with more insulation?
