Ran the same part 200 times before catching my zero offset slip
Was running a batch of 200 flanges on a 3rd shift in Toledo and kept chasing a 0.002" bore drift that turned out to be a worn tool holder taper, not the part, so has anyone else chased a ghost like that and what finally tipped you off?

200 parts is a whole shift of grinding through it, not a quick check. The fact that a taper wore down that slow and you caught it just by luck of the batch size is wild. What finally made you think to check the holder instead of the spindle or the material?
