That week everything ran perfect and I got suspicious

Last Tuesday every tool change landed within 0.001, the coolant never clogged, and I finished a 60 piece run in 4 hours flat, has anyone else had a shift so smooth you started waiting for the other shoe to drop?

Man, that's the kind of shift that makes you wonder if you accidentally made a deal with something. Did you check under your machine for a weird pentagram drawn in coolant or something? I'd be triple-checking every part for the next week just to be sure it wasn't a setup.

Haha right? I’d be checking for little gremlins hiding in the gears offering free upgrades. Probably just a lucky break but still, I’d be side-eyeing that thing for a week.

Man I'd have to triple check everything too but knowing my luck I'd find the pentagram and it'd just be a grease stain shaped like one. Probably just a sweet setup for a prank that nobody's told me about yet. Wouldn't be the first time I spent an hour checking tolerances on a part that was fine just to realize the new guy was messing with me.
