Am I the only one who now grinds beans fresh after years of pre-ground?
I always bought pre-ground coffee. Thought it was just easier. My buddy lent me his grinder last week. I gave it a shot. The smell right after grinding hit different. Made a cup right away. The taste was way smoother. No more weird aftertaste. Now I do it every morning. That little change made my coffee so much better.

Yeah that smell right after grinding is something else. My friend swore up and down it was a hassle until I made him try it, now he won't shut up about how his old coffee tastes like dirt.

Wait, isn't it wild how people resist until they actually try it? My cousin used to buy pre-ground coffee for years, always complaining about her bland cups. Then one morning I brought over my grinder and some beans from that local roaster downtown. She took one sip and her eyes just went wide, like she'd been lied to her whole life. Now she texts me every time she runs out of beans, asking for recommendations, and I have to laugh because she used to say it was too much work.

Oh, so now she's a coffee snob after years of drinking dirt water.
