Found my old pour-over setup from 2021 in the back of a cabinet yesterday

I dug out my old Hario V60 from three years ago last week. I had stopped using it around 2022 when I got a French press and convinced myself it was better. But I brewed a cup with it yesterday and man, the clarity is just different. I forgot how much I liked the clean taste compared to the heavy oils from the press. Question for y'all: anyone else circle back to an old brewing method and realize you actually liked it better the first time around?

Read James Hoffmann's take on V60 vs French press recently, changed my mind.

Ngl it's just pouring water over coffee grounds. Pretty sure the magic is in the beans more than the technique.
