The week my local shop got the entire 'Knightfall' run in one go

This was back in maybe 2013. I walked into my usual spot in Cincinnati and the owner just pointed to a new long box. He'd bought a whole collection from someone moving out of state. It had every single issue of the 'Knightfall' crossover, from 'Batman' 492 through all the 'KnightsEnd' stuff in 'Detective Comics'. I spent about 80 bucks that day filling the last dozen holes in my run. What made it stand out was the vibe in the shop that week. It wasn't just me. A few other regulars were there doing the same thing, trading notes on which issues they still needed. It felt like a real community event, not just shopping. Now you'd just click a button online and wait for a box. Has anyone else had a find that brought the whole local fan group together like that?

My big find was a dollar bin full of my own bad 90s comics.

How much did you pay for them?

Man, that's rough, finding your own old stuff like that. It's gotta feel weird seeing your past work tossed in a bargain bin. Did it make you cringe or was it kind of funny? I'd probably have a mix of both feelings, like part of me would want to buy them all just to get them off the street.
