A tender told me my dive log was too neat, so now my surface checks get written in the mud
He said a log with no smudges and no crossed out entries looks like it was filled in back at the dock, so now I write my surface checks on the page at the water with wet gloves and let the errors show, and I'm split on whether that's honest or just sloppy, what do you all do?

Man, neat logs just mean you're careful, not that you faked anything.
