The flow was great and my hat felt way better on long bottom times, but dragging that hose around pilings all day had my shoulders wrecked by hour 5. Anyone else run bigger hose on shallow stuff, or do you just eat the flow loss and stay light?
How deep are you actually working on those dock jobs? For 60 feet in Seattle I'd stick with 3/8 most days since the flow gain only really shows up past 100 feet or so. Save the 1/2 for the deep stuff and your shoulders will thank you.
