PSA: buying the cheap magnesium float in Fresno cost me a whole pour
Spent $22 on a no-name float at a swap meet and the thing warped on a 30x40 slab in July heat, so I want to know what float you all actually trust that does not break the bank.

Man, a $22 float warping in July heat on a 30x40 pour sounds less like a bad float and more like a rough day no matter what you bought. Half the guys I know have warped or dinged up a cheap float at some point and just kept going with it. Honestly the pour is what matters, not whether your float stays perfectly flat forever.
