I bought a $150 'truth frequency' generator to block mind control waves
Saw a video claiming it would stop government brainwashing signals. It's just a plastic box with a blinking LED. I used it for three months before realizing my router light does the same thing. Has anyone else fallen for a device that promised protection from made up threats?

Honestly, that "fancy words on the box" part from kimblack is the whole game. It's the same with those "EMF protection" stickers for your phone. Tbh, @jennybailey, people probably feel something because they spent so much and want it to be real. You see this pattern everywhere now, just slapping sciencey words on junk to sell a feeling of safety.

Yeah, the "mind control waves" thing always gets me. I read a whole article about how those boxes are just cheap electronics in a fancy case.

I saw that same article on Wired last month. They took one apart and found like five dollars worth of resistors and a basic circuit board. The whole "quantum field" talk is just fancy words printed on the box to make it sound legit. It's crazy how much they charge for what's basically a plastic shell with a blinking light inside.

What happens to the people who buy these things and swear they work? Is it just wishful thinking, or do they actually feel something from the blinking light?
