I finally mapped out the local cell towers and the coincidence broke me
For months I thought my phone always died at the same stretch of Route 9 near the old mill. Last Saturday I actually pulled up the FCC antenna registry and plotted every tower within 15 miles of my town. Turns out there is a dead zone exactly over the storage units where my ex keeps his stuff. I used to think it was bad luck or my battery, but now I can't shake the idea that the carriers know something about that area nobody talks about. The data is public and it lines up too perfectly with the zoning records from 2008. Has anyone else plotted coverage maps against local property history and seen stuff that makes you wonder?

That zoning thing from 2008 is what gets me. If the towers were placed around the same time the property rules changed, then somebody knew way ahead of time which spots would and wouldn't have signal. Dead zones don't just happen by accident most of the time, they usually mean nobody paid to put a tower there, and there's always a reason nobody paid. You should pull the tower owner names too, not just the locations, because who owns them tells you a lot more than where they sit. Curious what came up when you looked at who filed those zoning requests back then.
