Serious question, did a full moon week in Reno really cause 4 weird calls in a row?
Last Tuesday through Saturday I had four clients in a row cancel or reschedule on me for no real reason, and my buddy who works dispatch kept joking it was the moon, so now I'm wondering if any of you track stuff like that or if it's just a coincidence people like to believe.

The "for no real reason" part is what gets me, because there's usually a real reason you just can't see from your side. I work with schedules too and what I've noticed is cancellations cluster around stuff like paydays, school breaks, and the first cold snap of the season, which all hit at once in certain weeks. The moon thing is fun to joke about but it's probably an easier story than admitting a bunch of your clients all had the same boring life stuff going on. Dispatch guys love the moon theory because it turns a random night into a story worth telling, but next time it happens check if your four people had anything in common like job schedules or kids out of school. Bet you find something way more boring than the moon.
