Warning about that 'trusted source' on the moon landing hoax

My uncle, a huge JFK buff, insisted the Apollo footage was all filmed in Nevada, but after I actually read the NASA transcripts from 1969, his whole story fell apart. Anyone else have a family member who pushed a theory that completely crumbled under basic facts?

Oh man, I saw this documentary once that said the shadows looked wrong. But then someone explained how the lunar surface scatters light totally different than Earth, so of course it looks weird to us. Made me feel kinda dumb for even wondering.

That documentary sounds familiar. The shadow thing is a classic argument. What gets me is the flag waving in a vacuum. They say it moved because the astronauts were twisting the pole to plant it, but the footage still looks odd. Did that doc cover the flag thing too, or just the shadows?
