Swapped my float trowel for a magnesium one on a Seattle pour
I ran a 2,400 square foot warehouse slab in Ballard last month and figured the old steel float was fine, but the foreman insisted I borrow his magnesium trowel for the second pass. The finish came out smoother with way less effort, and I actually finished about 45 minutes earlier than my usual pace. Has anyone else made that switch or am I just late to the party?

Magnesium trowel is the standard for anything over 1,000 feet. You were late.
