Heads up, my salon's push for add-ons is backfiring big time
I've been at my current salon for two years, and recently management started requiring us to pitch at least three extra services per client. It's making appointments feel rushed and impersonal. Just last week, a regular client told me she's looking for a new stylist because she feels pressured every time. This is hurting our tips and repeat business. I tried talking to my manager, but she said it's necessary for profits. Now I'm worried other salons might adopt this, so be cautious if you see this trend. It's better to build trust with clients than push for quick sales.

My friend's salon did that and lost half her clients, lmao.

Did your friend figure out why they left, @adamw15?

Sounds rough but maybe she kept the better half.
