Saw a huge jump in curtain bangs at my shop in Cincinnati last month
Three years ago, maybe one client a week asked for them, but last week alone I did seven. It started with a regular, Sarah, who brought in a picture from a show, and now it feels like everyone wants that soft, face-framing look. Has anyone else had to get really quick at cutting these?
I read somewhere that curtain bangs are actually one of those styles that suits a ton of face shapes, which is probably why they're everywhere now (unlike those ultra-blunt straight across ones).
Honestly, it's just hair. It'll grow out or they'll get bored of it in six months. Feels like people see one thing online and suddenly it's a huge deal everyone has to have. Not saying it's hard to cut, but the way some talk about it, you'd think we're doing brain surgery.
