Totally agree! Those fast-dry formulas have come a long way from just sealing in polish. Now they actually speed up the drying process so you don't have to wait around!

Actually, the real genius is the fast-dry drops or the quick-dry base coat. A quick top coat alone just seals in wet polish underneath. You still have to sit there. The stuff that lets you put on socks five minutes later is a chemical game changer.

After ruining more manicures than I can count, I totally get what @waderamirez is saying. I used to rely on just a top coat and would smudge my nails trying to check my phone too soon. One time, I left perfect fingerprints on every key while typing at work. Now with fast-dry drops, I can put on my shoes right after and not wreck the polish. It's like magic for impatient people like me who can't sit still.
