Finally got the hang of spotting my own blind lifts

For years on a job in Denver, I'd always wait for a spotter to call every move, which slowed things down a lot. About six months ago, my foreman said 'Kelly, you've got the mirrors, use them.' I started practicing small, slow picks, checking both side mirrors and the camera before each lift. Now I can handle most blind side loads by myself, which saves a ton of time on tight sites. Anyone else have a trick for setting up your mirrors just right?

Six months to figure out mirrors? My old foreman would have lost his mind after a week.

Tilt your mirrors down a bit so you can see the tires and the ground right behind you.

Just be careful you don't lose sight of a motorcycle in your blind spot.
