My worst writing week ever was when my dog ate my notebook (the one with all my ideas).

I lost about 50 prompts I'd been collecting for months, and it felt like my brain just went blank. Has anyone else ever had a physical disaster wipe out their creative stash?

Man, "my brain just went blank" is exactly how it feels. I had a notebook get soaked in a coffee shop once and watching the ink run felt like watching my ideas dissolve. It's a special kind of panic that's hard to explain. I'm so sorry about your prompts, that's a huge loss.

Ugh, that's the worst. I started taking pictures of my notebook pages as a backup after something similar.
