Overheard a writer at the cafe say they only use prompts from one website

They were talking about only using prompts from WritingExercises.co.uk for the last three years. That seems like a great way to get stuck in a creative rut. What other prompt sources do you guys actually use?

Yeah, getting stuck in a creative rut is exactly right. I used to only grab prompts from one big subreddit and my stories all started sounding the same. Now I mix it up with weird news headlines, random Wikipedia pages, or just writing down a strange line I hear on the bus. It keeps things from getting stale.

I mean is it really that big of a deal if your stories sound the same for a bit? Idk maybe it's just me but getting stuck happens to everyone, you just push through it. All that extra stuff sounds like a lot of work to avoid writing.
