I used to write down all my passwords in a little black notebook, but after my neighbor's house got broken into and they stole a laptop with a sticky note on it, I switched to a password manager.

That story about the sticky note is exactly why I keep my passwords on paper. A notebook in my house is way safer than some company's server that could get hacked. I just keep my book in a locked drawer, not stuck to a screen.
