My password manager export sat in a drawer for 2 years before I used it
Last month I finally got around to moving all my logins into a proper password manager. The export file from my old browser had been sitting on a USB stick since 2022, and honestly I was scared to open it because I knew half my passwords were probably reused. Turns out 43 out of my 87 accounts shared the same password, including my bank and email. Took me a lazy Sunday afternoon to rotate the important ones, and now I sleep better. Anyone else put off this kind of cleanup for way too long?

43 reused passwords sounds rough, but 2 years of data sitting still worked out fine.
