Finally finished a project 3 hours early after a last-minute client demand

I had a branding project due at 5pm yesterday for a local coffee shop in Portland. At 2pm, the client sent a huge change request wanting a whole new color palette and revised logo concept. I was at my kitchen table with my laptop and a half cold coffee, ready to lose it. Instead of panicking, I told myself to just start one piece at a time and stopped checking the clock. I ended up finishing the new files by 4:30pm and sent them over with a quick note. The client actually loved the new version more and said it was perfect. Has anyone else had a last minute change somehow turn into a better final product?

Has anyone ever actually made that deadline after a last minute bomb like that?... I've found that when clients throw curveballs, working in 25 minute chunks without looking at the clock helps me get stuff done way faster than panicking. Glad the coffee shop ended up happy with the new version though... sometimes those forced changes really do work out better in the end.

Ha, I've made exactly zero of those deadlines. Pomodoro method plus caffeine and prayers is my go to.
