Rant: my old crown popped off at 9 years and my new one is only rated for 5
Dentist told me the porcelain fused to metal crown I got in 2015 would last 15 years and it made it to 9, but the all ceramic one he wants to put in now is only quoted at 5 to 7, so has anyone actually kept a zirconia crown past a decade or is that just the number they toss out?

Ha, so the upgrade comes with a shorter warranty than the thing it's replacing, that's rich. My dentist pulled the same move and now I'm supposed to feel good about paying more for less time. At this rate we'll be getting crowns rated in months and they'll call it progress.
