Why I stopped buying the cheapest composite filling after my dentist in Reno showed me the old one under a microscope
I always picked the budget option for my fillings until my dentist pulled up a side by side of my 6 year old cheap one next to a pricier resin, and the cheap one had worn edges and stains while the other looked almost new. It cost me $180 more per filling but I'm not going back. Has anyone else seen that kind of wear difference between the basic and the upgraded composite?

A microscope pic can make anything look scary though. They zoom in 500x and of course you're gonna see wear, that's kinda the point of a microscope. Seems like a good sales pitch if you ask me.
