Alt went out on a 2016 Pete 579 at 2am outside Waco, limped it 9 miles on the batteries
Glowing belt tensioner seized and snapped about a month back, took the alt with it, so I ran every light and radio off that truck just to make the next exit. Anyone keep a spare tensioner in the cab or am I the only one doing roadside guesses at 2am?

Spare tensioner lives in my side box now, learned that one the hard way too. Nine miles on battery power at 2am is some serious luck though.
