Hit 500 engine overhauls last Tuesday and it felt less like a milestone than I thought it would
Everyone acts like hitting a big number means something but honestly it was just another job same as the first one. Did anyone else get weirdly neutral when you passed a big count?

My buddy hit 1000 oil changes at his shop and he told me it felt like just another Tuesday until his wife made a big deal about it. He said he almost missed the moment because he was too busy wondering why a torque wrench was reading weird. Really makes you think the numbers are for everyone else, not for us.

Numbers are just numbers until somebody else reminds you they matter... your buddy needed his wife to see it for him.
That torque wrench thing is exactly how distractions steal the moment from you...
Guess it proves we all need someone watching to really notice the milestones.
