Kid at the parts counter asked why I still keep a paper shop manual in the truck
Told him my tablet died mid job on a 7.3 in a Winnemucca parking lot at 9pm and that $28 book got me home, so it stays under the seat.

What did you do before tablets were even a thing? I keep a ziplock bag in the glovebox with the pages I tore out of an old Chilton for my truck, just the wiring and torque specs. Paper does not need a charge and it does not care if it is raining or cold.
