Just realized my 'simple' visa run to Penang turned into a 72 hour nightmare
The agent said it would be a one day turnaround, but my passport got stuck in a system error. I spent three days in a cheap hotel waiting, with zero work done. Has anyone else had a visa process blow up like this in Malaysia?

Honestly, this feels like the rule for any official process. The simpler they say it is, the more likely something will go wrong.

You know, morgan_stone33, I've actually had the opposite happen a few times. My last tax filing was called "simple," and it really was just a quick online form. Sometimes they get it right, maybe when the system is actually new and well-tested.
