Can we talk about the switch from white to colored grout in bathrooms?

I was looking at some old project photos from about five years back and the difference is pretty clear. Every bathroom I did then had bright white grout on the subway tile. Now, it's almost all a light gray or a beige. I think it started when people got tired of the white showing every single bit of dirt and mildew. The colored stuff just hides it better, plain and simple. I used a bag of Mapei 'Warm Gray' on a shower last month and the homeowner said it was the main reason they picked the tile. It's a small change, but it really changes the whole feel of the room from a bit sterile to something warmer. Has anyone else moved away from white grout, and what color are you using instead?

Right? A buddy of mine redid his whole bathroom with bright white grout and regretted it within a month. @the_cameron he's still kicking himself over it, says it looks like a public pool bathroom now.

Wait, you were still using white grout five years ago?

Yeah, my bathroom's basically a time capsule of bad choices.
