Walked through a house under construction in Boise and noticed the plumber's drawing on the slab
I was on a jobsite visit in Boise last week and saw where the plumber had chalked his pipe runs right on the concrete before anyone poured. It was rough but clear, just lines and a few numbers, and the whole crew was working off it without a single question. Do most of you sketch things out by hand before you commit to the real drawing, or do you go straight into the software?

Reminds me of watching a tile guy snap chalk lines across a whole bathroom floor and eyeball the layout before touching a single tile. Some folks just think better with a line in their hands than a mouse.

Buddy of mine did the same with drywall, @burns.thomas, marked every sheet by hand first.
