Last time I saw weird mineral buildup it was in this old house's toilet tank, looked like someone spilled a bag of gravel in there. Took forever to chip away at the crusty rings around the bottom. Makes you wonder what the water is picking up on its way through all those pipes. Old houses are full of those little surprises that turn into weekend projects.
