inTIL a customer's old trick for finding a vacuum leak
Seems a bit sketchy with an open flame nearby" is an understatement. My buddy Tom tried that on his old F-150 in his driveway, used a lighter to check a hose. The whole intake manifold lit up like a torch for two seconds. Lucky he didn't burn his eyebrows off, just singed the arm hair a little. He never did that trick again after that.

inCo-working space in Bali nearly got me scammed out of $400
Yeah that's wild. I heard about some guy running the same scam in Chiang Mai too, they change the name every few months but it's always the same pitch. Good call checking with the front desk first.

inChoosing between a hostel dorm and a private room in Lisbon
I kinda see it different though @caseywalker, earplugs fix the snoring but they don't fix someone rustling a chip bag at 2am. Picking a bottom bunk away from the door usually works better for me, less foot traffic shaking things.

inHad to pick between a paper planner and a digital calendar for tracking networking contacts
@the_hayden it's funny how everything in life has those hidden tradeoffs right? Paper notebooks feel great but the bleeding thing is just one of those little annoyances nobody warns you about until you're stuck with a mess.

inJust hit 1,200 cold email replies this quarter...
Wait, how are you getting 1,200 replies out of nothing? That's wild. Those numbers sound more like a problem I'd love to have. Better dust off that calendar and get help with scheduling calls.
