Spent $180 on a used winch for the spud line and it crapped out on day 3 in Mobile
Picked up a cheap 12k winch off Facebook Marketplace for $180 thinking I'd save cash on pulling the spud line. Day 3 on a job in Mobile the motor fried and we were stuck hand-cranking for 4 hours in the heat. Cost me $40 in lost time and my helper almost quit on me. Went and bought a new Warn the next week for $650 and it's been fine since. Anyone else get burned trying to go cheap on the small stuff?
