Update: My $14 corner tool survived a full kitchen job and I owe the guy at the supply house an apology
Six months ago I laughed at a guy at the supply house in Fresno when he tried to sell me a corner finishing tool. I told him I had been doing corners by hand for 11 years out here and did not need some gimmick. Then my wrist started hurting bad after a 900 square foot kitchen and hall job, so I gave in and spent the $14. Just finished coat three on that same kitchen ceiling to floor with zero blisters, and the corners look cleaner than my hand work honestly. Now I am wondering what other tools I have been dismissing out of pride, so what is the one thing you guys swore off and then ended up loving?
Remember when I thought I knew everything at year two? Yeah me too. Took my wife buying me a $20 rasp for me to admit my 5 in 1 wasn't the only tool in the world. Pride is expensive, turns out the cheap stuff is what saves your hands.
