Was hanging board in a Phoenix attic in July when I realized my whole setup was wrong.

Hanging board in a Phoenix attic in July sounds like a special kind of hell. I read a story once about a contractor out there who had to quit by 10 AM because his drill battery would literally overheat and shut down. That heat does weird things to materials and your own brain.

Short take: Absolute nightmare fuel.
Longer response: Phoenix attics in summer are basically ovens, man. Your brain gets fried trying to do simple tasks. I had a buddy pass out from the heat up there, and he was just changing a filter. That dry heat makes everything brittle and warped, too. It's a race against the clock before you or your tools just give up.

My cousin's garage door opener in Mesa gave out last July because the circuit board warped. It's wild how modern stuff just isn't built for extremes anymore. My phone shuts off if I leave it on the car seat, and cheap plastic garden chairs turn to dust in a single season. Feels like we're all just duct-taping things together until the next heatwave.
