my torque screwdriver lied and now I check every termination by hand
After a service call in Phoenix where a failed lug connection melted a main panel, I found my cheap torque tool was off by almost 20 percent. Do you verify torque with a second tool or just trust the click?

I used to be one of those guys who just trusted the click and moved on. Then I watched a buddy's calibration test show his old wrench was off by a good chunk, and it made me rethink the whole thing. Now I keep a beam wrench in the truck just to spot check the clicker every few months, cheap piece of mind.
