Tried to fix a customer's TV in my van and a 12mm screw vanished into the seat rails
I was doing a house call in Reno last Tuesday and figured I'd just swap the power board in my van instead of hauling the TV inside. Of course a tiny screw shot out of my driver and disappeared somewhere under the passenger seat, so I ended up pulling the whole seat out in their driveway while they watched from the window. Has anyone else lost a screw in a car and just given up looking?
Lost screws in cars are just the universe's way of reminding us nothing is ever truly ours... had a 10mm socket roll into a vent once and I still think about it. Small parts and tight spaces always win in the end.
