Am I the only one who worries about skipping hands-on checks?

I remember when we checked all parts by hand! Now, with screens and codes, it's easy to trust the system. But last week, I found a loose bolt the diagnostics missed! That could have caused a big problem. Let's keep doing the old-school checks, everyone!

I can't believe a loose bolt got past the system!

Sensors on the line are meant to catch loose bolts before final assembly. This is a massive failure in quality control.

Man, this is everywhere now! We trust our phones and computers to tell us everything, from driving directions to spelling, but they miss real stuff all the time. I've followed a map right into a dead end and had spell check make a total mess of a sentence. It's like we're forgetting to use our own eyes and common sense.

Had a GPS try to send me down a closed road last month. I just pulled over and looked at the old paper map I keep in the glove box. Fixed it in two minutes. You gotta double check the tech with your own brain, it's not infallible. Relying on it completely makes you miss obvious things right in front of you.
